Photography by Mike Curtis I’ve had a camera in my hands for as long as I can remember, but always in view of recording an event rather than for any higher arty purpose. I would class myself as a semi professional photographer, I think to go pro would take the fun out of my photography, it would become a chore to take on work that I didn’t really have any enthusiasm for just to pay the bills. I like to think that I have the right balance, producing professional quality images, without the need to chase work or invoices (well I do chase payment when it’s due) :-) I like to record events in a story format and always try to display images in the order that they were taken, so with a gallery like Banbury Christmas Lights 2007 you can get a real taste of proceedings from start to finish As the years have progressed I have tried to take on more challenging aspects of photography with a keen interest in capturing and freezing movement whether that be in the form of a footballer in full flight or a sparrow on the wing, I’m always open to new ideas and challenges, so feel free to browse my web site and if you like what you see and have an event or photography project in mind, please contact me using the Enquiries button at the top of the page.
